Palestinska journalister får inte möta israeliska journalister
The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate förbjuder palestinska journalister att delta i möten med israeliska journalister.De som bryter mot förbudet kommer att sparkas ur organisationen.

De palestinska ledarna verkar tro att om man bara ljuger tillräckligt många gånger och upprepar att Jerusalem är muslimernas egendom och heliga stad medan judarna inte har någon koppling till staden så kommer omvärlden att tro dem.

Israels regering sitter kvar trots allt
Det var redan så gott som klart att det skulle bli nyval i Israel den 4 september. Men idag överraskade premiärminister Netanyahu och Shaul Mofaz, den nyvalde ledaren för det största oppositionspartiet, genom att tillkännage att oppositionspartiet Kadima går med i regeringen.
Det betyder att regeringen har stöd i parlamentet av 94 av de 120 ledamötena och sannolikt kommer regeringen nu att sitta perioden till slut det vill säga till oktober 2013.
Kadimas beslut att gå med i regeringen har mottagits med blandade känslor av israelerna. President Peres har gratulerat Mofaz för ett ansvarsfullt beslut medan Kadimas förra ledare Livni deltog i en demonstration som fördömde beslutet.
Som utomstående betraktare reagerar man på att de israeliska politikerna ena dagen kan använda ett så väldigt tufft språk när de kritiserar varandra men sen kan de ändå följande dag komma överens och sitta i samma regering.

Terrorist hedras av palestinska myndigheterna
Människor är mer eller mindre förstummade över att norrmannen Anders Breivik som dödade över 70 människor inte visar någon ånger över vad han gjort utan snarast verkar vara stolt över sitt vansinnesdåd.
Det är antagligen en normal och sund reaktion att man inte kan förstå hur ondskan så helt kan få en människa i sitt grepp.
När man kopplar ihop människors reaktioner på mördandet i Norge med reaktioner på terrorattacker mot Israel blir reaktionerna svårare att förstå.
Mord borde väl alltid väcka avsky och fördömanden.Men trots att de palestinska myndigheterna öppet hedrar terrorister som mördat tiotals människor fortsätter västländerna att förse de palestinska myndigheterna med ett stort ekonomiskt stöd.
Hur kan det vara möjligt att demokratiska stater stöder en myndighet som hedrar personer som utfört likadana dåd som Anders Breivik?

I april 1988 dödades PLO terroristen Abu Jihad av Israel.Årsdagen av hans död har firats med TV-program, tidningsartiklar och sportevenemang till hans ära.
Abu Jihad var inblandad i 125 israelers död och detta har presenterats som en bragd värd att firas.
Abu Jihad utförde terrorattacker mot Israel redan på 1950-talet, alltså innan Israel "ockuperade" västbanken. Detta som en påminnelse, om någon trodde att terrorattackerna började efter att Israel erövrade Judéen och Samarien (Västbanken) 1967.

Six sporting events were also held in his honor.
