"There are those that seek to silence conservative thinkers by making a criminal connection between our writings and the acts of a terrorist.

Another aspect of the same anti-liberal behavior is the tendency by many to pick and choose which sorts of terrorism are acceptable and which are unacceptable, in accordance with the ideological justifications the terrorists give for their actions.
The most recent notable example of this behavior is an interview that Norwegian Ambassador Svein Sevje gave to Ma’ariv on Tuesday.
Ma’ariv asked Sevje whether in the wake of Breivik’s terrorist attack Norwegians would be more sympathetic to the victimization of innocent Israelis by Palestinian terrorists.Sevje said no, and explained, “We Norwegians view the occupation as the reason for terror against Israel. Many Norwegians still see the occupation as the reason for attacks against Israel. Whoever thinks this way, will not change his mind as a result of the attack in Oslo.”
So in the mind of the illiberal Norwegians, terrorism is justified if the ideology behind it is considered justified. For them it is unacceptable for Breivik to murder Norwegian children, because his ideology is wrong. But it is acceptable for Palestinians to murder Israeli children, because their ideology is right...

For instance, a front-page news story in the Times on Monday claimed, “The man accused of the killing spree in Norway was deeply influenced by a small group of American bloggers and writers who have warned for years about the threat from Islam.”The reporter, Scott Shane, named several popular anti-jihadist blogs that Breivik mentioned in his manifesto. Shane then quoted left-leaning terrorism expert Marc Sageman who alleged that that the writings of anti-jihad authors “are the infrastructure from which Breivik emerged.”That is, Shane quoted Sageman accusing these writers of responsibility for Breivik’s acts of murder.Before considering the veracity of Sageman’s claim, it is worth noting that no similar allegations were leveled by the media or their favored terror experts against Gore in the wake of Lee’s hostage-taking last year, or in the aftermath of Kaczynski’s arrest in 1996. Moreover, Noam Chomsky, Michael Scheuer, Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer, whose writings were endorsed by Osama bin Laden, have not been accused of responsibility for al-Qaida terrorism...

Ord föder hat

Oded Meiri har skrivit ett inlägg på bloggen Fred i Mellanöstern som kan vara är värd att begrunda.
Efter massakern i Norge har tidningar och journalister i Sverige vaknat upp och varnar för att ord kan föda hat. Detta gäller också när medierna publicerar mängder av anti-israeliska artiklar skriver Oded Meiri.

Libanesisk dansare hotas efter att ha uppträtt tillsammans med israelisk grupp

Johanna Fakhry, en libanesisk dansare uppträdde tillsammans med en israelisk musikgrupp i Frankrike för en tid sedan.
Nu hotas hon till livet för tilltaget och till och med hennes familj i Libanon tar avstånd från henne.
Hon har också fått positiv respons, det finns de som tycker att hennes uppträdande tillsammans med israeler ger hopp om en fredlig framtid.
Libanon och Israel är tekniskt i krig med varandra sedan 1948 och det är förbjudet för libaneser att ha kontakt med israeler.

Hizbollah bakom mordet på permiärminister Hariri

Den internationella undersökningsgruppen som utrett mordet på Libanons premiärminister Hariri 2005 har nu offentliggjort namnen på de misstänkta mördarna.
Alla fyra har kopplingar till Hizbollah.
Interpol söker nu de misstänkta för att ställa dem till svars i Nederländerna.
Hizbollah med sina allierade styr Libanon och därmed är det inte troligt att någon av de misstänkta kommer att arresteras.
Hizbollahs ledare Nasrallah påstår att hela utredningen av mordet är en amerikansk och israelisk konspiration mot Libanon.
Tidigare i år fällde Hizbollah en regering som leddes av Saad Hariri, son till den mördade efter att denne vägrat ta avstånd från utredningen.

"Sanningen om västbanken" förargar palestinierna

Israels vice-utrikesminister Danny Ayalons You Yube video har väckt de palestinska ledarnas vrede.
Eftersom de har skapat en egen förfalskad historia för Palestina klarar de inte av att någon presenterar historiska fakta.

"Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon entered into a "battle of statements" Monday with Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat over a six-minute, minimalistic YouTube video Ayalon made which asserted that Judea and Samaria are disputed, not occupied, territories, and that the settlements are not illegal..The video entitled "The Truth About the West Bank" -- a brief historical narrative that tackles what Ayalon says is the "very simple question" of from whom Israel conquered the West Bank -- has garnered nearly 120,000 hits on YouTube since it was uploaded some two weeks ago.
It also earned Erekat's wrath.In a statement Erekat put out last week and carried by the Palestinian WAFA news agency, Erekat expressed shock at what he called the "offensive" video.“With this video, the Israeli government has left no doubt on its pro-conflict agenda,” Erekat said. “Now, the international community knows the Israeli government is committed to denying the Palestinian people their inalienable right to self-determination and on continuing their illegal and colonial enterprise in the occupied Palestinian territory..."

Understanding UN Bias Against Israel -- Invite to Durban 3 Protest

Konferensen Durban 3 förbereds som bäst och skall hållas i New York i september.FN:s konferens mot rasism ordnandes för första gången för tio år sedan i Durban (därav namnet).Konferensen blev ett stort fiasko. Istället för att arbeta mot rasism blev konferensen en stor antisemitisk tillställning.
Canada, USA, Israel och Tjeckien har beslutat att inte delta i uppföljningskonferensen. Vi får hoppas att Finland har kurage att följa deras exempel.









Stort köpcenter öppnades i Gaza

Denhär veckan öppnades ett stort köpcenter i Gaza. Priserna var moderata men eftersom de palestinska myndigheterna har haft råd att bara betala halva lönen för juni månad var kanske inte öppningstidpunkten den bästa.
De flesta i Gaza har ingen vana av att handla i köpcenter utan handlar hellre på marknaden säger en av de intervjuade i artikeln nedan.

Israel - judarnas land

Eftersom palestinierna är fast beslutna att vända sig till FN i höst för att få ett erkännande av den palestinska staten kommer resten av sommaren att präglas av en intensiv propaganda- och informationskampanj från både palestinierna och Israel. (Det bör obseveras att Hamas motsätter sig planerna att gå till FN, för dem är det endast "motståndets"väg som räknas.)
Därför är det skäl för alla som är intresserade av konflikten att ännu en gång påminna sig om vad som hänt i området de senaste hundra åren och vilka internationella överenskommelser som har laga kraft.
Ett exempel på politiska uttlanden som inte är särskilt väl underbyggda är Norges utrikesministers påstående att det är helt legitimt för palestinierna att föra saken till FN för att få ett erkännande. Uttalandet gavs i måndags efter Abbas besök.
Eftersom det finns internationellt bindande avtal som ger judarna rätt till hela området väster om Jordanfloden hur kan det då vara legitimt av palestinierna att gå till FN för att få ett erkännande av en palestinsl/arabisk stat utan Israels/judarnas medgivande.
Ifall palestinierna först skulle komma överens med Israel om vilka områden Israel är beredd att avstå från skulle FN kunna ge palestinierna sitt erkännande, men utan Israels medgivande är det närmast att betrakta som ett stöldförsök. ( Det är viktigt att notera att Israels regering och majoriteten av befolkningen är beredd att låta palestinierna få en egen stat bara man kan komma överens om villkoren, men palestinierna vill inte ens förhandla om saken)

Förutom mänskliga överenskommelser och avtal som berör Israel finns det i Bibeln "avtal" som har betydligt större vikt, oberoende av om man vill tro på dem eller inte.
Jag vill ännu en gång påminna om Joel 3 eftersom det ser ut att vara den tiden vi lever i denna höst. Guds dom kommer att falla över nationerna därför att "de har delat mitt land" sägs det.
Observera att när vi talar om Israel är det inte judarnas land eller arabernas land utan Guds land och han har gett det till arvedel åt sitt folk/judarna. Gud har inte gett rätten att dela landet till någon annan.

Gaza rustar upp

Sedan Egyptens president Mubarak störtades i februari och "demokratiseringen" av Egypten vidtog har Hamas smugglat in tre gånger mera explosiva ämnen än man lyckades smuggla in under hela året 2010. Dessutom har luftvärnsmissiler och pansarmissiler smugglats in.
Detta på grund av att Egypten inte längre är intresserad av att försöka förhindra smugglingen eftersom man förväntar sig att Muslimska brödraskapet skall vinna valet i höst och Hamas är en del av Muslimska brödraskapet. (Armén vill hålla sig på god fot med vinnarna.)Dessutom verkar Egypten ha förlorat kontrollen över stora områden av Sinai till beduinstammar.
Hamas förfogar nu över 10.000 rakter och missiler av vilka en del är iranska Fajr-5 raketer som har en räckvidd som gör att de kan nå Tel-Aviv området. (Israels mest tätbefolkade område).Hamas nya vapen gör att nästa gång Israel och Hamas drabbar samman kommer civila i Israel att drabbas hårt.

IDF doesn’t view rocket attacks as real escalation
Despite the continued rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, the IDF does not appear to be preparing for a large-scale operation, such as Operation Cast Lead in 2009.
The understanding in the defense establishment is that the approximately 20 rockets that landed in Israel since last week have been fired by radical Islamic groups affiliated with al-Qaida and global jihad, made up of former Hamas operatives...
...One of the main problems with Gaza today is that any future Israeli operation would likely have to be dramatically different than it was in 2009.Then, the main strategy was to separate the southern part of the Gaza Strip from the North, to cut off arms supplies to northern Gaza – the location of most of the rocket launchers – and to hit Hamas infrastructure hard from the air throughout the Strip.Today, Military Intelligence estimates Hamas and Islamic Jihad have obtained more than 10,000 rockets and missiles – including a large stockpile of Iranian Fajr-5 rockets that can reach Tel Aviv – close to what Hezbollah had on the eve of the Second Lebanon War in 2006. A year ago, the terror groups were believed to have just a few thousands rockets, but the revolution in Egypt has completely altered the balance of power between Israel and Gaza.Practically speaking, this buildup has major operational ramifications for the IDF and means Palestinian terror groups now store their rockets and launchers throughout the region. In order to effectively stop rocket fire into Beersheba, Ashdod, Ashkelon and Tel Aviv, the IDF will have to operate throughout the entire Strip.Israel is extremely concerned by the major increase in weapons and explosives smuggling into Gaza since Hosni Mubarak’s downfall in February. Already in April, The Jerusalem Post reported one of the first results of the revolution was the interim government’s decision to stop construction of a steel barrier that Egypt had been building along its border with Gaza in an effort to curb smuggling.

Opinionsundersökning bland palestinierna

Jerusalem Post rapporterar om en opinionsundersökning bland palestinierna på västbanken och i Gaza som inte ger mycket hopp om en fredlig lösning i området.
Eftersom de palestinska myndigheterna fortgående matar befolkningen med TV program och tidningsartiklar som beskriver hela området väster om Jordanfloden, inklusive Israel, som palestiniernas hemland som skall återtas är resultat i undersökningen inte så förvånande.
Endast 34% säger att de stöder en tvåstatslösning som går ut på "två stater för två folk".
66% uppgav att det verkliga målet bör vara att starta med en tvåstatslösning för att sedan gå vidare och göra allt till en palestinsk stat.

"Asked about the fate of Jerusalem, 92% said it should be the capital of Palestine, 1% said the capital of Israel, 3% the capital of both, and 4% a neutral international city.Seventy-two percent backed denying the thousands of years of Jewish history in Jerusalem, 62% supported kidnapping IDF soldiers and holding them hostage, and 53% were in favor or teaching songs about hating Jews in Palestinian schools.When given a quote from the Hamas Charter about the need for battalions from the Arab and Islamic world to defeat the Jews, 80% agreed. Seventy-three percent agreed with a quote from the charter (and a hadith, or tradition ascribed to the prophet Muhammad) about the need to kill Jews hiding behind stones and trees."

"Like the radicals, the "moderate" camp is also saying that it will not and cannot make any concessions to Israel on its territorial demands.
With such positions, it is hard to see how the peace process could lead to anything positive. The radicals do not want to negotiate with Israel because they do not recognize its right to exist and believe it should be wiped off the face of the earth. The so-called moderates say they are ready to return to the negotiating table, but only if Israel agrees in advance to give them 100% of their demands.
Yet the central problem is that even if Israel does accept all their demands, neither camp is willing to commit to ending the conflict. This is basically why the 2000 Camp David summit failed – because Yasser Arafat was not prepared to sign any document that called for end of conflict even after a peace deal were reached between Israel and the Palestinians.
Further, no "moderate" Palestinian leader would dare to sign such a document out of fear of being denounced by his people -- and the rest of the Arab and Islamic countries -- for having "sold out" to Israel by giving up the claim to all of the land."

Judarnas rätt till sitt land

På European Coalition for Israels hemsida finns det gott om material som visar att judarna har laglig rätt att bosätta sig i hela området väster om Jordanfloden.
Där föklaras det också varför inte vapenstilleståndslinjen från 1949 skall kallas för 1967 års gräns och att det som allmänt kallas för de ockuperade områdena inte är ockuperade i egentlig mening utan "omtvistade områden" där judar enligt internationel lag har rätt att bosätta sig.

The boundaries of the "Palestine" referred to in the claimants‟ submissions included territories west and east of the Jordan River. The submissions of the Jewish claimants specified that the ultimate purpose of the mandate would be the "creation of an autonomous commonwealth," provided "that nothing must be done that might prejudice the civil and religious rights of the non-Jewish communities at present established in Palestine." The resulting Mandate for Palestine, approved by the Council of the League of Nations in July 1922, was an international treaty and, as such, was legally binding...
...The policy to be given effect in the Mandate for Palestine was consistent with the Balfour Declaration in significantly recognizing the historic, cultural and religious ties of the Jewish people to the Holy Land and the fundamental principle that Palestine should be reconstituted as the national home of the Jewish people. It is particularly relevant to underline the inclusion in the terms of the Mandate (through Article 2) of the fundamental principle set out in the Preamble of this international agreement that "recognition has thereby been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country."
The primary objective of the Mandate was to provide a home for the Jewish people – including Jewish people dispersed worldwide – in their ancestral home, as they alone among the peoples of the world, had no other homeland. The Arab people, who already exercised sovereignty in a number of States, were guaranteed protection of their civil and religious rights under the Mandate as long as they wished to remain, even after the State of Israel was ultimately formed in 1948. Moreover, Trans-Jordan was meanwhile added as a territory under Arab sovereignty, carved out of the very mandated territory at issue, by the British, prior to the actual signing of the Mandate in 1922 (see below).
When the Council of the League of Nations approved the Mandate for Palestine in April 1922, it became binding on all 51 Members of the League. This act of the League enabled the ultimate realization of the long cherished dream of the restoration of the Jewish People to their ancient land and validated the existence of historical facts and events linking the Jewish People to Palestine. For the members of the Supreme Council, these historical facts were considered to be accepted and established. In the words of Neville Barbour, "In 1922, international sanction was given to the Balfour Declaration by the issue of the Palestine Mandate."
The rights granted to the Jewish People in the Mandate for Palestine were to be given effect in all of Palestine. It thus follows that the legal rights of the claimants to sovereignty over the Old City of Jerusalem similarly derive from the decisions of the Supreme Council of the Principal Allied Powers in San Remo and from the terms of the Mandate for Palestine approved by the Council of the League of Nations...

...Thus, in a word, the primary foundations in international law for the claim based on "historic rights" or "historic title" of the Jewish People in respect of Palestine are the San Remo decisions of April 1920, the Mandate for Palestine of July 1922, approved by the Council of the League of Nations and bearing the signatures of that international treaty by the Principal Allied Powers in July 1922, and the Covenant of the League of Nations itself (Art. 22). The rights thereby granted to the Jewish People (with the exception of the provisions of Article 25 of the Mandate, relating to Trans-Jordan) were aimed at the establishment of a Jewish national home throughout Palestine. These rights have never been rescinded...

Take for example, the "Palestinian" identity. At the time of the San Remo decision and the resulting Mandate for Palestine, the territory then known as "Palestine" was designated for the reconstitution of a National Home for the Jewish People only, expressly for the "reconstitution" of their national home. While care was taken to protect the rights of Arab inhabitants, the Jews alone were a People without a country. Indeed, this was the very purpose of the Mandate for Palestine and its predecessor the Balfour Declaration. At the time of the Mandate, it would have been more accurate to refer to "Palestinian Jews" and "Palestinian Arabs" (along with various other non-Jewish inhabitants). But because of the creation of the State of Israel, the Palestinian Jews reclaimed their ancient name of "Israelis" while the non-Jews (mainly but not all Arabs) appropriated the name "Palestinians", with the foreseeable result that they are viewed as being the rightful inhabitants of the Land. In actual fact, the Land called "Palestine" covers territory that the Jews have called the "Holy Land" well before the name "Palestine" was first used by the Greeks and Romans. In a word, the territory known as "Palestine" has never
either since this name has been applied or before – been an Arab nation or been designated to be an Arab nation. But this nomenclature carries great psychological impact with the inference that it is the former Arab inhabitants of Palestine that are the true "Palestinians", that they belong in "Palestine" and that they have been displaced from territory that was their ancestral heritage, rather than that of the Jewish "Palestinians" who in actual fact had no other „home‟.

Är det såhär palestinierna förbereds för tvåstatslösningen?

Palestinian Media Watch rapporterar om hur de palestinska myndigheterna fortfarande i TV- program framställer israeliska städer som palestinska.

The Palestinian Authority continues to present a world to its children in which Israel does not exist, and all of Israel is part of "Palestine." As Palestinian Media Watch has documented, the PA also uses cultural events, including song and dance, to promote non-recognition of Israel and Israel's right to exist. The following are two recent examples of PA teaching its people to see a world in which Israel does not exist.

Virriga uttalanden av egyptisk partiledare

Ahmed Ezz el-Arab, en av ledarna för det "liberala" Wafdpartiet i Egypten gjorde en del uttalande denna vecka som väcker farhågor angående Egyptens framtid.
"Förintelsen är en lögn" säger han. "Gaskamrar är fantasihistorier och terrorattacken den 11 september i USA utfördes av Mossad och CIA".
"Amerikanska judiska soldater med dubbla medborgarskap har stulit judiska antikviteter från den babyloniska exilen i Babel för att gräva ner dem under Al-Aqsa moskén i Jerusalem för att man senare skall kunna gräva upp dem och påstå att templet fanns på platsen."
Är det en ensam virrig man som uttlar sig eller finns det fler nya egyptiska ledare med samma åsikter?
Enligt Amr Bargisi är uppfattningen att Förintelsen aldrig har inträffat allmän bland befolkningen i Egypten.

Grekland stoppade Gazaflottiljen

Deltagarna i den planerade flottiljen till Gaza börjar återvända hem efter att det står klart att Grekland inte kommer att låta några fartyg på väg till Gaza segla ut från grekiska hamnar.
Därmed verkar risken för en konfrontation mellan aktivisterna och israeliska flottan vara undanröjd, åtminstone för tillfället.
Grekland har erbjudit sig att tillsammans med FN transportera alla förnödenheter som flottiljen medfört till Gaza via Israel, vilket också Israel har samtyckt till. Organisatörerna av flottiljen har däremot inte visat något intresse för förslaget.

Uppfyller palestinierna kraven för ett FN-medlemskap?

De palestinska ledarna säger att de i september kommer att gå till FN för att organisationen skall erkänna Palestinas självständighet och för att ansöka om medlemskap.
FN stadgan ställer upp vissa krav på medlemmarna.
I kapitel 2 artikel 4 står det:
1 Membership in the United Nations is open to all other peace-loving states which accept the obligations contained in the present Charter and, in the judgment of the Organization, are able and willing to carry out these obligations.

I Kapitel 1, artikel 2, punkt 3 och 4 står det:

3 All Members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered.

4 All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.

Det är PLO som representerar palestinierna. I PLO:s stadga kan man bl.a.läsa följande:
Article 1:Palestine is the homeland of the Arab Palestinian people; it is an indivisible part of the Arab homeland, and the Palestinian people are an integral part of the Arab nation.

Article 2:Palestine, with the boundaries it had during the British Mandate, is an indivisible territorial unit.

Article 9: Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine. This it isthe overall strategy, not merely a tactical phase. The Palestinian Arabpeople assert their absolute determination and firm resolution to continuetheir armed struggle and to work for an armed popular revolution for theliberation of their country and their return to it . They also assert theirright to normal life in Palestine and to exercise their right toself-determination and sovereignty over it.

Article 19: The partition of Palestine in 1947 and the establishment of thestate of Israel are entirely illegal, regardless of the passage of time,because they were contrary to the will of the Palestinian people and totheir natural right in their homeland, and inconsistent with the principlesembodied in the Charter of the United Nations, particularly the right toself-determination.

Article 20: The Balfour Declaration, the Mandate for Palestine, andeverything that has been based upon them, are deemed null and void. Claims of historical or religious ties of Jews with Palestine are incompatiblewith the facts of history and the true conception of what constitutesstatehood. Judaism, being a religion, is not an independent nationality.Nor do Jews constitute a single nation with an identity of its own; theyare citizens of the states to which they belong.

Hamas som regerar i Gaza och som måste samarbeta med PLO ifall man tänker upprätta en palestinsk stat har sin egen stadga. Avgör själv hur den passar ihop med ett FN-medlemskap!

Initiatives, and so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences, are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance Movement...
...There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors.

Palestinierna håller fast vid sina krav

Trots att palestinierna utsätts för påtryckningar från USA för att inte gå till FN för att få ett erkännande verkar de inte backa från sina krav.
De palestinska ledarna lägger nu fram sina gamla krav som ett villkor för att inte gå till FN.
I fall omvärlden (Kvartetten = FN, EU, USA och Ryssland) kräver att Israel drar sig tillbaka till vapenstilleståndslinjen från 1949 (vilket strider mot FN-resolution 242) och kräver att allt byggande stoppas i bosättningarna på västbanken samt i östra Jerusalem (som är en del av Israels huvudstad) kan palestinierna tänka sig att inte gå till FN och istället påbörja förhandlingar.
Israels regering vägrar gå med på dessa förhandsvillkor och vill starta förhandlingar utan förhandsvillkor. Det skulle ju vara dårskap av Israel att göra eftergifter redan innan förhandlingarna inleds utan att få något i gengäld.

De palestinska myndigheterna har råkat in i en ekonomisk kris. Det ekonomiska understödet från omvärlden har minskat och nu klarar man inte av att betala ut lönerna. De palestinska myndigheterna är helt beroende av stöd från omvärlden för att klara ekonomin.

FN - värd att lyssna till?

Politiker och media hänvisar ofta till FN när man vill få vikt bakom något påstående eller åsikt. Men garanterar ett beslut eller resultatet från en omröstning i FN:s generalförsamling eller säkerhetsråd att en viss moralisk standard uppnås?
FN:s stadgar ställer upp höga mål:Organisationen skall verka för att mänskliga rättigheter respekteras, och som medlemmar kan antas alla fredsälskande stater som är beredd att verka i enlighet med stadgarna.
Men FN kan inte vara bättre än summan av sina medlemmar.
Enligt den senaste rapporten från Freedom House är endast 115 stater av de 194 som granskats demokratier.
Endast 87 stater (45%) beteckans som fria vilket betyder att de mänskliga- och politiska friheterna respekteras.
Delvis fria är 60 stater (31%) och inte alls fria är 47 stater (24%).
Majoriteten av FN:s medlemsstater är alltså sådana som inte respekterar mänskliga rättigheter och resolutioner som antas i Generalförsamlingen grundar sig på majoritetsbeslut.
Tydligast kommer kanske detta fram i FN:s mänskorättsråd där skurkstater effektivt kan skydda varandra.
Men det leder också till andra märkliga situationer.
Senaste vecka valdes Nord Korea , en av de absolut värsta diktaturerna i världen till ordförande för FN:s organ för avrustning (U.N. Conference on Disarmament).

Qatar har nyligen valts till ordförande för FN:s generalförsamling (landet hör till de icke fria staterna) .
Iran har en viceordförandepost i Generalförsamlingen. Landet är en världens största sponsorer av terroristorganisationer, huvudleverantör till Hamas och Hizbollah.

Eftersom FN blivit en organisation som styrs av de minst fredsälskande staterna i världen, som grovt bryter mot de mänskliga rättigheterna, kan man ifrågasätta om beslut som fattas av FN har någon vikt överhuvudtaget.

Hizbollah bakom mordet på Hariri

Internationella domstolen som utrett mordet på Libanons förra premiärminister Rafik Hariri har överlämnat sin utredning till libanesiska myndigheter.
Tidningsuppgifter gör gällande att utredning pekar ut fyra Hizbollahmedlemmar som skyldiga till mordet.
Hizbollah och dess allierade har majoritet i Libanons nya regering som utnämndes nyligen.
