Landsförräderi att göra eftergifter när det gäller Jerusalem

Det palestinska parlamentet, som domineras av Hamas, antog i första behandling i torsdags ett lagförslag som gör det liktydigt med landsförräderi att göra några eftergifter angående Jerusalem.

Israel tillåter de palestinska säkerhetsstyrkorna att få bepansrade tranportfordon, skriver Jerusalem Post. Detta trots protester från den israeliska armén, som är rädd för att Hamas kan få tillgång till fordonen. Efter att Hamas tog över makten i Gaza fick de också kontroll över vapen som var avsedda för säkerhetsstyrkorna.
Leveransen är också lite märklig eftersom ledare för Fatah meddelat att om Israel går in i Gaza kommer Fatah ( som kontrollerar säkerhetsstyrkorna ) att strida tillsammans med Hamas mot Israel.
Israel kommer atagligen att bli tvungen att utföra en stor militäroperation i Gaza eftersom inte beskjutningen därifrån upphört. Dessutom rapporteras det nu att Hamas förbättrat kvaliteten på sina Kassamraketer, vilket oroar israelerna ytterligare.

The Higher Arab Monitoring Committee in Nazareth unanimously called on the Palestinian Authority not to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

Mahmoud Abbas added his voice today to those who reject Israel as a Jewish state.
From a historical perspective, there are two states: Israel and Palestine. In Israel, there are Jews and others living there. This we are willing to recognize, nothing else.
