De palestinska mördarna hedras som hjältar

Rubriken kanske verkar provoserande men bland de palestinska fångarna finns många mördare som dödat tiotals civila israeler. Inget civiliserat samhälle borde visa någon glädje över att mördare som inte avtjänat sitt straff och ångrat sitt brott friges.
Åter en gång ser man hur det palestinska samhället hedrar människor som tagit till våld i kampen mot Israel.

"We thank God that you returned safe and sound to your families, your brothers, and your homeland after this forced disappearance because you struggled for your homeland," the president said."We pray that God enables us to see the rest of our sisters and brothers freed in this yard. Your sacrifices, and efforts and work were not in vain. You worked and struggled and sacrificed. You will see the results of your sacrifices in the independent Palestinian state.
"Brothers and sisters, your cause was and is still in our heart and minds. Our main worry was our brothers and sister in jails."
Abbas referred to charismatic Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine secretary-general Ahmad Sadaat ,two high profile prisoners who were left out of the deal."We will see, God willing, very soon, our brother Marwan Barghouthi and Ahmad Saadat (båda dömda för mord), whom we wish a quick recovery."

"We thank God for your return and your safety," Abbas said, greeting the prisoners. "You are freedom fighters and holy warriors for the sake of God and the homeland."
"We hope soon to see [Marwan] Barghouti and [Ahmed] Saadat, as well as every prisoner freed," Abbas told the thousands of cheering supporters and relatives, referring to two high-profile prisoners who Israel had refused to release.

FN:s generalsekreterare Ban Ki-moon (Jerusalem Post)
"I am very encouraged by the prisoner exchange today after many many years of negotiation," Ban said. "The United Nations has been calling for (an end to) the unacceptable detention of Gilad Schalit and also the release of all Palestinians whose human rights have been abused all the time."
Man får verkligen hoppas att generalsekreteraren inte menar att alla palestinska mördare skall friges innan de avtjänats sina straff.

FN:s mänskorättsråd gjorde också ett uttalande genom Navi Pillay.
Rådet som inte gjort något för att hjälpa Gilad Shalit är nu orolig för att en del av de frigivna fångarna som inte får återvända hem kanske inte frivilligt beger sig till främmande ort. Om så inte är fallet anser man att Israel bryter mot internationell lag.
Även när Israel lyckas få en kidnappad medborgare frigiven efter fem års fångenskap lyckas mänskorättsrådet hitta något att fördöma Israel för.
