Israels FN-ambassadör tar upp raketbekjutningen från Gaza

Israels FN-ambassadör vänder sig till FN.s generalsekreterare med anledning av gårdagens raketattack från Gaza. Sedan början av oktober har mer än 60 rakter och granater skjutits mot civila mål i södra Israel.

“Nearly every day, we witness new scenes of destruction. Israeli men, women and children continue to be killed and injured. Shrapnel flies into homes, schools and playgrounds,” Prosor wrote. "Fires rage in the streets. Yet, the Security Council still has not uttered a single syllable of condemnation against these attacks.”

In Response to Rocket Fire IAF Targets Terror Tunnel and Terror Activity Site

In response to rocket fire, IAF aircraft targeted a terror tunnel and a terror activity site in the northern Gaza Strip overnight. Direct hits were confirmed. Tunnels such as this one are intended for infiltrating into Israel and executing terror attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.

Since the beginning of October, more than 60 rockets and mortars were launched from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel, risking the lives of more than one million Israelis.
