Terroristen, en 23-årig man från Tulkarm på västbanken har gripits efter en kort jakt.
Israels premiärminister Netanyahu och utrikesminister Liberman säger att det är palestiniernas ledare Abbas som i grunden är orsaken till att attacken eftersom han tillåter uppvigling och hets mot judarna.
Det är inte tomma ord av Netanyahu, här under kommer några exempel där Abbas medhjälpare och parti direkt uppmanar till knivattacker.
