Den israeliska armén har startat en ny större operation för att få slut på raketbeskjutningen från Gaza. Operation Protective Edge kommer att bli långvarig enligt en talesman för IDF. Operationen kommer att utvidgas stegvis och kräver tålamod.
Under nattens lopp har IDF slagit till mot 50 mål i Gaza.
