Palestinska lokalval i juli?

Kinneret rises only 16 centimeters in January
'Kinneret could become a fish-free lake'
This was Kinneret’s worst decade since 1920s

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood: In Their Own Words
The Muslim Brotherhood has taken a greater role in organizing the protest against the Egyptian regime as it unfolds its independent political agenda. Rashad al-Bayumi, the Brotherhood's second-in-command, announced in an interview with Japanese TV that the group would join a transitional government in order to cancel the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, as it "offends the Arabs' dignity and destroys the interests of Egypt and other Arab states." He further stressed that Egypt does not need American aid.
The Muslim Brotherhood does indeed participate in political activity and defend the democratic process. That is not, however, because it has accepted the principles of Western democracy, but rather because the democratic process can be exploited to establish an Islamic regime which will then render democracy unnecessary.
Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammad Mahdi ‘Akef told the Egyptian daily Al-Karama in 2007 that only Islam was the expression of true democracy. "Islam and its values antedated the West by founding true democracy, exemplified by the Shura [the advisory council under the Caliphs]."
The Brotherhood's official website notes that jihad is Islam's most important tool in effecting a gradual takeover, beginning with the Muslim countries, moving on to reestablishing the Caliphate over three continents in preparation for a conquest of the West, and finally instituting a global Islamic state.
The Muslim Brotherhood's step-by-step plan dictates its supposed "moderation," which will gradually vanish as its achievements increase and its acceptance of the existing situation is replaced by a strict, orthodox Muslim rule whose foreign policy is based on jihad.

Most Embrace a Role for Islam in Politics
Muslim Publics Divided on Hamas and Hezbollah
Ett exempel:
"Views of harsh punishments also vary across the Muslim publics polled. Majorities of Muslims in Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan and Nigeria say they would favor making harsh punishments such as stoning people who commit adultery; whippings and cutting off of hands for crimes like theft and robbery; and the death penalty for those who leave the Muslim religion the law in their country. In the other predominantly Muslim countries surveyed – Turkey, Lebanon and Indonesia – most Muslims oppose these measures."

Egypten
Egypt Health Ministry: 350 injured, 1 killed in clashes
Även journalister har angripits idag.

'Pro-Mubarak demonstrators are targeting the press'
Pro-government protesters and Egyptian military have attacked reporters from numerous media sources around the world during Wednesday's riots in Cairo's Tahrir Square.
Hamas worried upheaval in Arab world will spill into Gaza
Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip are concerned about the effects of the upheaval in the Arab world, as Facebook messages call on Gaza residents to demonstrate against Hamas rule on Friday.
Israels premiärminister:
'A democratic Egypt does not threaten peace'
Netanyahu expresses hopes that "efforts for democracy come true," tells Abbas to "see the changes in the region as a chance to negotiate."
‘We know that Netanyahu cannot sleep now’
-Ahmed said he didn’t want Egypt’s peace treaty with Israel completely demolished, but for it to undergo a serious change.“It should be remodeled. With Mubarak leaving, we know that whoever comes next will remodel the agreement.”
- Ahmad Ragab, 42, spoke more vehemently towards Israel saying “look, all Egyptian people hate Israel, only Sadat wanted Camp David. We know that Israel will be mad about what is happening here, and we know that Netanyahu can’t sleep now. We know that with the change here, there won’t be peace with Israel. There won’t be a war, but I don’t think there will be an Israeli embassy in Egypt any more, we will have only the most minimal relations.”

Demonstrationer i Egypten och Jordanien
Egypten
Israeli critics open up on US ‘abandonment' of Mubarak
Gaza activist: Hamas stops pro-Egypt rally in Gaza
Our World: Clueless in Washington
"...According to a Pew opinion survey of Egyptians from June 2010, 59 percent said they back Islamists. Only 27% said they back modernizers.
Half of Egyptians support Hamas. Thirty percent support Hizbullah and 20% support al Qaida. Moreover, 95% of them would welcome Islamic influence over their politics. When this preference is translated into actual government policy, it is clear that the Islam they support is the al Qaida Salafist version.
Eighty two percent of Egyptians support executing adulterers by stoning, 77% support whipping and cutting the hands off thieves. 84% support executing any Muslim who changes his religion..."
Analysis: Egypt realities running ahead of Mubarak
ElBaradei: 'Mubarak must resign to prevent bloodshed'
"Earlier Tuesday, the UN's top human rights official said that she had unconfirmed reports that 300 people have been killed and over 3,000 injured in the anti-government protests in Egypt."
If ElBaradei Can't Tell the Truth About the Muslim Brotherhood, He Can't Master It
"Muhammad ElBaradei blatantly lied to CNN. Naturally, the reporter neither called him on it or followed up to ascertain the truth." (Barry Rubin)

Jordanien

Palestinians shell Negev with Grads, mortar attacks
Each Projectile, whether a Qassam, a mortar or a Grad can reach a wide range of distances. The map below marks the ranges of rockets fired from the Gaza Strip. The grey area refers to mortar shells, the yellow to kassam rockets, the orange improvised kassam rockets and Grad missiles, the red area refers to the range of upgraded Grad missiles.

Today, there are over 950,000 Israelis living within range of rocket, mortar and grad attacks, with the highest population in Be’er Sheva, where approximately 531,000 civilians have 60 seconds to find shelter in case of an attack.
The map below indicates how much time people have to take cover given the distance the rocket travels. Those living in the 10 kilometer range have 15 seconds to find safety once the alarm sounds, those in the 20 km range have 30 seconds, 30 km – 45 seconds, and 40 km a minute.
