Risk för ett nytt större utbrott av strider med terroristerna i Gaza

I går och i dag har över 30 raketer och granater skjutits från Gaza mot Israel. Största delen av dem har skjutits ner av israeliska försvaret. Det är Islamsk Jihad som igen ligger bakom raketbeskjutningen. Israel har svarat med att bomba mål tillhörande Islamsk Jihad både i Gaza och i Syrien.
Israels premiärminister och försvarsminister har hotat med att Israel är beredd att vid behov inleda en större operation mot Gaza om inte beskjutningen därifrån upphör. Att parlamentsvalet i Israel står för dörren får inte vara något hinder för en nödvändig militär operation säger man.
Om man får ta Netanyahu på orden kan det vara fråga om en stor markoffensiv i Gaza för att få ett slut på den ohållbara situationen med upprepad raketbeskjutning från Gaza mot israeliska samhällen i gränsområdet.

PMW to UNICEF: Stop ignoring PA recruitment of child soldiers/terrorists

Every year, the local branch of UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) releases a biased report on “Children and Armed Conflict,” which routinely blames Israel for its treatment of Palestinian children combatants but ignores the fact that it is the Palestinian Authority who recruits the children into combat - in violation of international law.

To counter this bias, Palestinian Media Watch has sent an extensive and detailed report to UNICEF describing how the PA recruited child soldiers/terrorists, in 2019.

PMW's report shows how the PA indoctrinates Palestinian children to hate Jews and Israel; to aspire to the destruction of Israel; brainwashes the Palestinian children to admire murderers; weaponizes the Palestinian children and promotes their participation in violence. The report further shows how the PA pays substantial financial rewards to the child terrorists. Damningly, PMW’s report also shows how the PA leadership openly admits that the child terrorists are the PA’s soldiers.

While UNICEF, overtly and covertly, collaborates with a host of Palestinian NGOs, who provide them with claims of alleged abuses of the rights of the Palestinian children by Israel, which UNICEF includes in its annual report, UNICEF does nothing to gather information about the PA or other Palestinian terror groups recruitment of children. This year PMW has done the work for UNICEF.

The way to protect Palestinian children from conflict is not to criticize Israeli law enforcement. It begins with identifying the clear factors that drive the Palestinian minors to participate in violence and terror.

Accordingly, and based on the findings of the report, PMW recommends that UNICEF:

1. Recognize and directly attribute the participation of Palestinian children in widespread and systematic acts of violence and terrorism against Israel and Israelis to the policies of the PA
2. Demand that the PA immediately desist from indoctrinating Palestinian children to hate Jews and Israel, and to believe in the destruction of Israel
3. Demand that the PA immediately desist from brainwashing the Palestinian children to admire murderers
4. Demand that the PA immediately desist from weaponizing the Palestinian children
5. Demand that the PA immediately desist from promoting the participation of the Palestinian children in violence and acts of terror
6. Demand that the PA immediately desist from paying financial rewards to the child terrorists

• Facebook removes PMW exposure of terror promotion but leaves numerous Fatah posts glorifying murderers and promoting terror untouched

Last week, Palestinian Media Watch exposed an animated video on the social media network TikTok that showed reenactments of four real terror attacks against Israelis. After PMW’s exposure, TikTok did the right thing and promptly removed the video from its network.
By contrast, Facebook decided to remove PMW’s exposure of the same video, claiming PMW had “violated its community standards.” However, this was not violent content created by PMW, but PMW’s exposure of such content made and published on social media by others!
This would be comical if it was not so outrageous.
For years, PMW has documented the promotion and glorification of terror and murderers of Israelis by Abbas’ Fatah Movement on Facebook. But Facebook has chosen to turn a blind eye. Since the beginning of 2019, PMW has urged Facebook to remove such posts and close Fatah’s page because of the content glorifying terror and violence, but Facebook has ignored PMW’s documentation and actively decided to let Fatah continue promoting violence and glorifying terrorists.

PMW has documented Fatah’s violation of Facebook’s community standards in two major reports: Fatah's official Facebook page in 2018 - A platform for glorifying murder and promoting terror, documenting Fatah’s misuse of the page in 2018, and the Fatah-Facebook Terror Promotion Partnership, showing Fatah’s continued misuse of the page and Facebook’s facilitation of it during 2019. Additional PMW reports have documented that throughout 2019 and in 2020 Facebook has continued to willingly let Fatah use Facebook as a platform for terror glorification and violence promotion.

Facebook is making a clear statement: There is terror promotion that it rejects, and there is terror promotion that it embraces. Facebook clearly has embraced Fatah’s terror promotion.

Resultat av långvarig propaganda

Flera palestinska fraktioner har skarpt tagit avstånd från och fördömt att en grupp tidigare palestinska politiker deltog i ett fredsmöte i Tel-Aviv tillsammans med israeliska politiker.
Det ses som ett steg mot normalisering av relationerna mellan Israel och palestinierna och något sådant får inte förekomma.

Palestinska Al-Quds Open University har också hamnat i skottgluggen efter att ha publicerat kartor av Palestina som bara innehöll västbanken och Gaza. I fall palestinierna eftersträvar en tvåstatslösning borde det inte vara något problem, men kartor av Palestina skall innehålla hela området mellan Medelhavet och Jordan, utan Israel.
Universitet  hamnade att be om ursäkt för de "felaktiga " kartorna.

Båda exemplen ovan visar på ett sorgligt tillstånd bland palestinierna. De vill inte ha fred med Israel och deras verklighetsuppfattning är rubbad på grund av åratal av ledarnas propaganda.
Eventuella nya ledare kommer att ha väldigt svårt att ingå något fredsavtal med Israel eftersom varje eftergift från orealistiska förväntningar kommer att betraktas som förräderi av stora delar av befolkningen.

The Grand Mufti of the Palestinian Authority Muhammad Hussein has ruled that Palestinians are forbidden to cooperate in any way with US President Trump’s peace plan, the so-called “deal of the century.” Anyone cooperating with the plan is “betraying Allah,” and those who support it “deserve to be cursed by Allah, his angels, and all people":

"[PA] Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories Muhammad Hussein published a religious ruling that forbids cooperating with the 'deal of the century' and those promoting it, as its goal in general is to eliminate the Palestinian cause forever. The mufti said in a statement yesterday [Feb. 11, 2020] that anyone who cooperates with the deal is betraying Allah, His Messenger [Muhammad], the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem, and Palestine… those who are planning this unjust aggressiveness, or willingly supporting or being silent about it, deserve to be cursed by Allah, his angels, and all people."

Palestinska barn hjärntvättas och används som barnsoldater

Två rapporter som berättar om hur palestinska barn utnyttjas av terrorister/myndigheter och hjärntvättas till att hata judar och Israel:

10.000 barn tränas varje år i terroristernas läger och över 100 uppges ha dött när de deltagit i grävandet av tunnlar i Gaza.

The letter notes that an estimated 10,000 children are trained in Gazan terrorist camps each year, and that at least 160 have died digging terror tunnels into Israel.
The NGOs hope that public pressure put on the terrorist organizations will eventually force them to abandon their use of children to fight their wars. As part of that effort, they are also encouraging people to hold rallies and share material online to raise awareness of the fact that the children are being used in this way.

Jews and Israel are collectively demonized as “colonialist settlers,” aggressive,” “barbaric,” “full of hate” and “harboring genocidal intentions.” Israel is described as the source of all evil and as the party solely responsible for the conflict. In contrast, the Palestinians are depicted as victims.

Fatahs mål: Palestina från Medelhavet till Jordan

Fatahs ledare Mahmoud Abbas kommer att tala inför FN:s säkerhetsråd i dag. Han kommer knappast att säga det samma som Fatahledare på hemmafronten säger. Nämligen att hela Israel enligt Fatahs åsikt tillhör palestinierna, landet är palestiniernas rättighet enligt islam och ingen palestinsk ledare som vill kunna visa sig på öppen gata kan avstå från någon del av landet.
Det är en palestinsk tradition som går tillbaka till Arafat att föra fram ett budskap inför den internationella publiken och ett annat budskap för hemmapubliken.

Fatah: All of Israel is forever “Palestine”

– Jaffa, Acre, Haifa, Nazareth, Ramle, Beit Shean, The Negev Desert,

Tiberias, Safed, Jezreel Valley, and Umm Al-Fahm

Abbas’ Fatah is not only saying adamantly “no” to US President Trump’s peace deal, they also insist that all of the State of Israel is “Palestine.” Senior Fatah official Tawfiq Tirawi made this clear in a recent speech when he defined “Palestine” as stretching from “the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea.” Tirawi defined “Palestine” as “waqf,” which is an inalienable religious endowment in Islamic law, and therefore it is forbidden to accept non-Muslim rule over it. He further threatened that any Palestinian leader or official who would agree to a “Palestine” covering only the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and not including all of Israel would be in danger and “not be able to walk one meter in the streets of our Palestinian cities among our people”: 

Fatah Commissioner and Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi: “Who said that we are for a state [on the borders of] 1967? Who said this? In Fatah, this does not exist in our constitution and our charter! They [Israel] want Beit El and Ma’ale Adumim (i.e., Israeli towns in the West Bank) to be Israeli, and we say that Nazareth, Haifa, and Acre (i.e., Israeli cities) are Palestinian, and they will remain Palestinian! Our Palestinian land is from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea. I dare any Palestinian, any senior Palestinian official, or any Palestinian leader to reduce the Palestinian map to the West Bank and Gaza! He would not be able to walk one meter in the streets of our Palestinian cities among our people! … Arab brothers… Be with the Palestinian people, the people that lives on land that is all holy and that is all waqf land (i.e., land that is an inalienable religious endowment in Islamic law.)”
