Politiker från väst, senast brittiske utrikesministern Phillip Hammond påstår att Iran har förändrat sin hatiska inställning till Israel.
Men de iranska ledarna själva förnekar bestämt att så skulle ha skett.
Seyed Mahmoud Nabavi, en av medhjälparna till ledaren ayatollah Ali Khamenei sade i lördags att kampen mot den olagliga sionistiska regimen är en del av de oföränderliga politik som Iran för, och som kommer att fortsätta.
Hussein Sheikholeslam, medhjälpare till parlamentets talman Ali Larijani sade i en kommentar rent ut att Israel skall förintas.
Samtidigt fortsätter också regimen i Iran att förtrycka den egna befolkningen.
Det är det här landet som västvärlden nu är så ivrig att upprätta nya handelsförbindelser med.

En raket sköts senaste natt från Gaza mot Israel. Ingen skadades i attacken och Israel svarade med att bomba en vapenfabrik som tillhörde Hamas.

"Om judarna säger att..," Abbas ifrågasätter Förintelsen.

 

De behandlar oss som de blev behandlade... Abbas gör en grov historieförfalskning och verklighetsförfalskning. Inte i något skede under historien har judarna eller Israel gjort något för att utrota de palestinska araberna.

 

Jag gjorde ingenting mot honom... Abbas har som ledare för PLO och Fatah fört ett terrorkrig mot Israel i tiotals år och antagligen  förorsakat tusentals döda judar.

Jag vill bara att han skall följa lagen... Internationell lag utgående från San Remo deklarationen och stadgarna för Palestina mandatet ger judarna rätt att återuppbygga sin stat i hela området väster om Jordanfloden.

Jag vill ha en stat enligt gränserna från 1967... Det finns inga gränser från 1967 men det finns vapenstilleståndslinjer från 1949 om vilka det tydligt och klart sägs att de inte skall ha någon inverkan på var framtida gränser skall dras.

Antisemitism is persecution and oppression, and this is definitely something desirable to the Zionist movement. The conclusion from these ideas is that a green light was given [by the Zionist leaders] to every racist in the world, first and foremost Hitler and Nazism, to do as they wish to the Jews, as long as it guarantees individual immigration to Palestine. And it was not enough for the Zionist movement to give a green light - rather it even asked for more victims, in order to be comparable to the victims of other peoples in the war. This was because it [the Zionist leaders] thought that raising the number of victims would increase its rights at the end of the war, when the bounty is divided."

• Palestiniernas två regeringar, Hamas och Palestinska myndigheten (PM), har goda skäl att oroa sig för Islamiska staten. De senaste veckorna har talesmän för IS utfärdat hot mot såväl PM som Hamas, och anklagat dem för att "samarbeta" med den "sionistiska enheten".

IDF slog till mot Islamsk Jihad i Syrien

IDF uppger att de med en flygattack dödat fyra medlemmar av den grupp från Islamsk Jihad som stod bakom raketbeskjutningen av Israel i går.Islamsk Jihad är en av de terrorgrupper Iran understöder och utbildar.

PM Netanyahu:
"I said it just this week- anyone who tries to harm us, we will harm them. And so we did," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "The IDF killed the forces responsible for the rocket attacks and the Syrians who allowed it to happen. We have no intention to escalate the situation but our policy remains the same," he said.

"To those states that are rushing to embrace Iran, you should know that an Iranian commander supported and gave guidance to the group that fired on Israel," added Netanyahu.

In last summer’s Gaza war, between 50 to 70 percent of those killed were civilians, depending on whose statistics you believe.

Of the 20,000-40,000 people killed in Assad’s campaign, only approximately 2,000 are believed to have been insurgents, meaning 90-95% of the casualties were innocent civilians. Some within Assad’s own family even put the figure closer to 97.5%.

The Gaza conflict’s civilian-to-combatant ration is dramatically lower — not only than Assad’s massacre, but than the US campaigns in Pakistan and Yemen. The Reprieve human rights group found that in US drone strikes against 41 wanted individuals in those countries, some 1,147 people were killed — a death toll that was 96.4% noncombatant.

Civilian casualties are a fact in every war. Even in Kosovo in 1998-1999, in which NATO attacked then-Yugoslavia to save civilians from a genocide, a third of the 1,500 casualties caused by NATO were among the very civilians they were trying to save.

Avtalet som skulle begränsa Irans möjligheter att utveckla kärnvapen blir bara sämre ju mer information man får om det.
Nu har det kommit fram att IAEA har gått med på att Iran själv får granska  militär anläggningar där de misstänks utveckla kärnvapen.
Överenskommelsen är mellan IAEA och Iran men USA och de som förhandlade fram Iranavtalet kände till detta faktum och accepterade det.
Finländaren Olli Heinonen som var en av cheferna i IAEA mellan 2005 och 2010 säger att han inte känner till någon liknanade eftergift till något annat land.

Arrangörerna för "The Rototom Sunsplash reggae festival" har bett Matisyahu om ursäkt och inbjudit honom att delta i festivalen som planerat. Detta efter att deras agerande fått mycket kritik och även Spaniens utrikesminister fördömt arrangörerna för att de dragit tillbaka Matisyahus inbjudan och försökt tvinga honom  att göra politiska uttalanden till stöd för palestinierna som villkor för ett deltagande.

Israel Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor sent the following letter to the UN Secretary General and the Security Council:
​"Excellency,

Today, a Palestinian terrorist approached Israeli security forces south of Nablus and told them that he was not feeling well and asked for water. When they invited him to approach, he drew a knife and stabbed one of the soldiers.

Just two days ago, a Palestinian man approached an Israeli soldier and asked him for some water. When the soldier turned to get him some, the terrorist assaulted him with a knife. Later that same day, another Palestinian stabbed an Israeli border policeman in the back during a routine security check.

Such attacks are becoming part of a disturbing new pattern in which those seeking to murder Israelis take advantage of their humanity. On June 19th of this year, I wrote to you about a Palestinian man who shot two 25 year old Israeli civilians at close range, killing one of them. The terrorist attracted the attention of his victims by asking for their assistance. He then pulled a gun out of his bag and shot the two in cold blood.

Attacks of this kind are especially outrageous because they take advantage of a person's natural desire to help their fellow man in their time of need, in order to kill him. These are acts that no decent person would tolerate.

This type of attack is also especially dangerous. Not only do such attacks pose a grave threat for Israelis, they may well harm those Palestinians who are genuine in need of assistance.

We have also recently learned that Ahmad Najar, the man who initiated and planned the murder of Malachi Rosenfeld on June 29th of this year, used the money paid to him by the PA to purchase the weapon that was used in the attack, and to train those who executed it. These funds were paid to the terrorist for the time he served in an Israeli jail for the crime of murdering six Israelis in 2004.

Once again, the Palestinian leadership is failing to take responsibility. Not only do they refuse to condemn these attacks, but they also fund people who serve time in prison for carrying them out.

I call on the Security Council to unequivocally condemn this latest series of terror attacks in a clear voice. I ask you to publicly call on the Palestinian Authority to condemn those responsible for these attacks, and to do everything in their power to prevent future attacks.

A timely and clear statement by the Security Council is crucial to prevent further deterioration and further suffering."

Palestinierna vill ha mer hjälp av Iran i kampen mot Israel

Judisk artist inte välkommen på musikfestival i Spanien

Israel har förhindrat 17 självmordsattacker i år

Hittills i år har Israel avslöjat och lyckats förhindra 17 självmordsattacker. Eftersom det är relativt svårt att ta sig in från de palestinsk/arabiska områdena på  västbanken till Israel har attackerna planerats mot  israeliska mål på västbanken.
Fem av attackerna var planerade av Hamas fem av andra grupper och sju av attackerna hade ingen koppling till någon speciell organisation.
Det är den nya hotbilden, många attacker utförs med improviserade vapen av personer som inte har någon direkt koppling till någon organisation. Den sista gruppen består av personer och små grupper som inspirerats av den hatpropaganda mot judar och Israel som allmänt förekommer i det palestinska samhället. Denna grupp är också svårast att upptäcka för den israeliska säkerhetstjänsten.

Israel har också lyckats förhindra 8 planerade kidnappningar under de senaste sju månaderna. Fyra av dessa var planerade av Hamas de återstående av Islamsk jihad eller andra grupper.

Totalt har Israel lyckats förhindra 111 terrorattacker under detta år. Hamas har stått bakom 55% av de planerade attackerna.

Enligt forskaren har många av de palestinier som tillfångatagits av shiitisk milis i Irak blivit brutalt torterade och tvingade att "erkänna" sin påstådda inblandning i terrorism. Sedan 2003 har antalet palestinier där sjunkit från 25 000 till 6 000.

• Det mest intressanta är den totala likgiltighet som internationella människorättsorganisationer, medierna och Palestinska myndigheten (PM) visar inför den dåliga behandlingen av palestinier i arabländerna. Internationella journalister bryr sig inte om palestinierna i arabvärlden, för sådana historier kan inte skyllas på Israel.
• FN och andra internationella organ har uppenbarligen inte hört talas om den etniska rensningen av palestinier i den arabiska världen. De är också så besatta av Israel att de föredrar att inte höra talas om palestiniernas lidande under arabiska regimer.
• PM-ledarna säger att de vill förbereda "krigsförbrytelse"-åtal mot Israel vid den internationella brottmålsdomstolen. Men när det kommer till den etniska rensningen och tortyren av palestinier i arabiska länder som Irak, Syrien och Libanon, då vänder de bort blicken.
• Om en arab dödar eller torterar en arab är detta inte värt att publicera i en stor västerländsk tidning. Men om en palestinier klagar på israeliska myndigheter eller judiska bosättare, rusar västerländska journalister dit för att bevaka denna "avgörande" utveckling.
• De arabiska länderna inte bara avskyr palestinier, de vill dessutom att de bara ska vara Israels problem. Sedan 1948 har arabiska regeringar vägrat att låta palestinier bosätta sig permanent i deras länder och bli jämbördiga medborgare. Nu håller de dessutom på att döda, tortera och utsätta dem för etnisk rensning – allt medan världens ledare fortsätter att borra sina huvuden i sanden och peka finger åt Israel.

• Abbas tvetydiga och halvhjärtade fördömanden av palestinska attacker mot israeler är bara spel för gallerierna och syftar främst till att blidka västerländska bidragsgivare så att de ska fortsätta skicka pengar till Palestinska myndigheten. Dessutom är hans fördömanden ett sätt att lägga skulden på Israel för palestinska terrorattacker.
• Netanyahus starka och tydliga fördömanden fick mig och andra palestinier att fundera på när vi senast hörde ett liknande uttalande från våra ledare. Jag kan inte minnas att Abbas eller någon annan palestinsk ledare någonsin har uttryckt chock och ilska över palestinska terrorattacker som tagit judiska liv, eller när en palestinsk tjänsteman senast besökte israeliska offer för en palestinsk terrorattack.
• Varje gång Abbas motvilligt fördömer en palestinsk terrorattack, får han utstå en våg av kritik från många palestinier. Till skillnad från den israeliska allmänheten, skyndar sig många palestinier att rättfärdiga och till och med välkomna terrorattacker mot judar. Har det någonsin funnits en palestinsk aktivist som hållit möte i en palestinsk stad för att fördöma självmordsbombningar eller morden på en hel judisk familj? Den israeliske presidenten har all anledning att skämmas för mordet på barnet. Men kommer palestinierna någonsin drabbas av skam för hur vi reagerar på mord på judar?

Sommarläger med positivt budskap

I motsats till Hamas sommarläger där man lär sig hata och döda finns det i Israel sommarläger där araber/palestinier och judar försöker lära känna varandra och leva tillsammans.

Tre raketer avfyrades från Gaza mot Israel i dag. Endast en av dem nådde över gränsen till Israel, de två andra föll ner i Gaza. På den israeliska sidan uppstod inga skador.
Man antar att det var någon mindre grupp som stod bakom attacken, inte Hamas.

Jag har skrivit om ämnet tidigare men i artikeln här under skriver Itamar Marcus bland annat:  "I varje samhälle finns det mördare som även mördar barn men ett test på ett samhälles moral är hur den reagerar på mord och terrorhandlingar".

Every society has murderers and extremists who would kill even children. The test of a society's morality is how it responds to those murderers. Israel loathes, ostracizes and prosecutes Israeli terrorists who murder Palestinian children. The Palestinian Authority honors, embraces and rewards Palestinian terrorists who murder Israeli children.

Last Friday, a terrorist, apparently an Israeli, set fire to a Palestinian home, killing an 18-month-old boy. The arson and murder has been condemned by Israel's prime minister, president, political and religious leaders and everyone who has spoken about it. When the murderer is found, he will be prosecuted and will spend the rest of his life in prison.

On March 11, 2011, five members of the Fogel family were killed in their home by Palestinian terrorists from the Awad family. Hakim Awad led the attack, killing the parents, Ehud and Ruth, and three of their children, aged 11, four and two months.

From the day Awad was arrested, the PA rewarded him with a monthly salary, which eventually will reach $3,000 a month, four times the average Palestinian civil servant's salary. Official PA TV then invited his mother and aunt to talk on the PA TV program dedicated to honoring and sending greetings to imprisoned terrorists. They referred to Awad and his accomplices as "heroes" and Hakim Awad himself was called "the hero, the legend." The PA TV host added: "We, for our part, also convey our greetings to them."

Dalal Mughrabi led a terrorist attack in which 12 children and 25 adults were murdered in a bus hijacking. To teach Palestinian children the value it places on murdering a large number of Israeli children, the PA has named dozens of places in her honor, including three schools, summer camps, sporting events, a town square and much more.

PA President Mahmoud Abbas himself funded a computer center named after her and sponsored a birthday party in her honor, as the banner shown on PA TV highlighted: "Under the auspices of President Mahmoud Abbas: The Political and National Education Authority Ceremony on the anniversary of the birth of the bride of the cosmos, The Martyr Dalal Mughrabi."

On March 29, 2002, 17-year-old suicide bomber Ayyat Akhras murdered a 17-year-old Israeli girl named Rachel Levy. To make sure Palestinian children understand how valuable it is to murder Israeli teens, the PA placed a picture of Akhras over the door of the Artas High School for Girls near Bethlehem. The caption to the picture reads: "The Heroic Martyr."

In May 2013, Palestinian Media Watch reported that official PA TV had honored three Palestinian terrorists responsible for many gruesome suicide bombings that in all claimed the lives of 156 Israeli civilians, including many children. The bombings included the Passover Seder bombing, killing 31; Sbarro restaurant bombing, 15 (eight children); Hebrew University, 9; Cafe Moment, 12; Cafe Hillel, 7; Zion Square in Jerusalem, 11.

PA TV responded the next week with outrage at PMW: "Palestinian Media Watch... slandered these heroes and claimed that they are terrorists... If they see Abdallah Barghouti [67 life sentences] as a terrorist, Abbas al-Sayid [35 life sentences] as a terrorist and Ibrahim Hamed [54 life sentences], if they see all these prisoners as terrorists - we see them as heroes... I salute you, all you heroic fighter prisoners, and of course, I always wish you freedom" [PA TV (Fatah), June 27, 2013].

Last October, a Palestinian terrorist drove his car into a light-rail station in Jerusalem, killing three-month-old Chaya Zissel Brown and 22-year-old Karen Mosquera of Ecuador, and wounding seven others. He was shot and killed by police while attempting to escape. The next day Fatah, headed by Mahmoud Abbas, honored the murderer as a hero on its Facebook page: "The Palestinian National Liberation Movement, Fatah... accompanies to his wedding the heroic Martyr Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaloudi, who carried out the Jerusalem operation, in which settlers in the occupied city of Jerusalem were run over. Rest in peace, we are loyal to you."

Describing his death as a wedding indicates that Fatah believes that killing three-month-old Jewish children is what Allah wants and Islam demands, and that the murderer is being rewarded with 72 dark-eyed virgins in paradise.

A few weeks later, four rabbis were butchered in a synagogue during morning prayers by two Palestinian terrorists. Abbas's adviser, Sultan Abu Einein, immediately posted pictures on his personal Facebook page of the pools of blood and the murdered rabbis still wearing their bloodied prayer shawls, which he captioned as "pictures from the scene of the heroic operation." The next day, to assure Palestinians understood that murdering Jews is not only a "heroic" Palestinian nationalist act but also an Islamic imperative, he added these words: "Blessed be your quality weapons, the wheels of your cars, your axes and kitchen knives... it's according to Allah's will. We are the soldiers of Allah."

Since the PA was established Israelis have murdered two Palestinian children. The Israeli government presents these murderers of Palestinian children as immoral outcasts. In the same period Palestinian terrorists have murdered close to 200 Israeli children. The PA presents these murderers of Israeli children as heroes and role models and as fulfilling Islam.

This by itself captures the essence of the immorality of the PA and highlights the myth of a "moderate" PA. As long as the PA teaches its children and adults that it is heroic, rewarded and ordered by Islam to murder Jews, a Palestinian peace partner has yet to emerge, Palestinian terrorism will continue and a peace process has yet to begin.

Två svårt skadade i terrorattack

Hamas och de palestinska myndigheternas "hjärntvätt" av befolkningen bär frukt.
I dag utfördes ännu en terrorattack där en ung palestinsk bilförare körde över några människor.
I attacken skadades två personer svårt och en lindrigt.
Det är möjligt mannen tillhörde Hamas men alla vet att dödar man en eller flera judar så blir man en hedrad hjälte i det palestinska samhället så det kan också ha varit fråga om en spontan attack.
Hamas och Islamsk jihad har redan hunnit prisa attacken.

• Över 500 medlemmar av Hamas väpnade gren, Ezaddin al-Qassam, övervakar militär träning och religiös utbildning i lägren där man utbildar framtida jihadister för kriget mot Israel. Hamas religiösa utbildning är inriktad på att lära barnen om islam och sharialagarna. De får också lära sig att det är förbjudet enligt islam att sluta fred med "otrogna".
• Det är upprörande att se hur internationella och palestinska mänskliga rättighetsorganisationer, särskilt de som påstår sig värna barns rättigheter, blundar för denna storskaliga barnmisshandel från Hamas sida. Dessa organisationer bryr sig bara om barns rättigheter när det finns möjlighet att lasta all skuld på Israel.
• Palestinska myndigheten och dess president Mahmoud Abbas förgiftar också folkets hjärtan och hjärnor genom att ständigt hetsa dem mot Israel. Dessa barn kommer aldrig att acceptera den tvåstatslösning Abbas talar om. Inte heller kommer de någonsin att erkänna Israels rätt att existera i denna del av världen.
• "Lär era barn att leka, att le... Ge dem en institution... som bygger på kärleken till Palestina, inte hur de ska gå tillväga för att bli dödade." — Palestinske aktivisten Eyad al-Atal kritiserar Hamas för att de "berövar en hel generation palestinier deras barndom".

They would not recognize these resolutions. There were quite a few UN Security Council resolutions, which ran counter to the interests of some countries that did not recognize them. The Islamic Republic of Iran will not succumb to any international resolution that contradicts our strategic interests and our sovereignty. However, with regard to the Vienna agreement, if it wins the support of the legal authorities in Iran, Iran will be completely committed to it.

Palestinierna använder ICC om politiskt vapen

De palestinska ledarna visar ännu en gång att de försöker använda Internationella brottmålsdomstolen som ett politiskt verktyg i sin kamp mot Israel.
Efter attacken mot ett palestinskt arabiskt hem i fredags vänder sig de palestinska myndigheterna till ICC.
Det borde vara helt klart att attacken inte på långt när uppfyller kriterierna för att ICC skall åta  sig fallet men när Israel på något sätt är inblandat gäller inga normala regler, så man vet aldrig.
Här borde representanter för ICC slå näven i bordet och göra klart att så länge de palestinska myndigheterna uppmuntrar till terrorattacker och hedrar terrorister som hjältar borde de inte visa sig i närheten av domstolen.

Media Central i Jerusalem hjälper journalister

Vi som följer med nyheter från Israel i olika medier och som själva har varit i landet har upprepade gånger kunnat konstatera hur den information vi får genom medierna inte stämmer överens med det som vi själva upplevt. Bilden av Israel som medierna förmedlar ser helt annorlunda ut än det land många av oss besökt. Nyheterna är dessutom i många fall färgade och ensidiga. Det här är naturligtvis något man är mycket medveten om i Israel och det har gått så långt att man i vissa kretsar anser att det svåraste kriget som Israel har att utkämpa inte är det fysiska kriget mot fientliga grannar, utan mediekriget.

På grund av detta missförhållande togs nyligen ett unikt initiativ av den obundna medieorganisationen Honest Reporting som grundande ett mediecenter i Jerusalem för att stå till tjänst med information och kontakter.

Centret heter MediaCentral och har ett upplägg och en verksamhetsidé som man är ensam om i staden, sannolikt i hela landet. Det är ett öppet center vars mål är att betjäna utländska journalister. Till MediaCentral kan de sticka sig in och få tillgång till centrets utbud av fakta till exempel i form av litteratur, allt från kortare informationsblad till omfattande rapporter och studier. Journalisterna har fri tillgång till WiFi och till exempel printer och faxutrustning – och kaffe med tilltugg. På fyra stora tv-skärmar visas ständigt nyheter från olika kanaler. Centret kan förmedla kontakter till experter, förstahandsvittnen, analytiker och intervjuobjekt, samt även exempelvis professionella fotografer, översättare, chaufförer och guider.

MediaCentral har en stor mängd färdigt utskrivna informationsblad om olika ämnen och om geografiska och kulturella områden i landet och man ordnar rundturer till platser som är intressanta ur nyhetssynvinkel, till exempel Sderot, Golan och säkerhetsbarriären. Vid behov kan man också hjälpa med logistik, kontrakt och annan service och information. Varje torsdag eftermiddag har man en genomgång och sammanfattning av veckans nyheter där man behandlar aktuella ämnen på flera olika språk.

Centrets kunniga personal är serviceinriktad och står till tjänst med hjälp och information och gör detta dessutom utan egen agenda för att centret ska kunna vara trovärdigt och professionellt. Med sin verksamhet strävar man till en rättvis bevakning av nyheter från Israel, från den arabisk-israeliska konflikten och hela regionen. Man säger: ”Vi är övertygade om att sanning och exakthet är Israels bästa allierade och därför strävar vi efter att helt enkelt hjälpa journalisterna att nå deras egna mål att förstå och rapportera fakta och stå till tjänst med insiktsfulla analyser, i samarbete med både israeliska och palestinska partner inom myndigheter och medborgarorganisationer.”

MediaCentral är unikt och förhoppningsvis blir centret en samlingsplats för de utländska journalister som rapporterar från Israel och Mellanöstern, eftersom där finns en stor mängd verktyg till förfogande och en kunnig och serviceinriktad personal med ett betydande nätverk av kontakter till samhällets alla nivåer. Allt detta bäddar för en högre kvalitet på nyhetsrapporteringen, vilket vi alla i förlängningen får nytta av.

• En muslimsk mobb i Deder, Etiopien, attackerade en kristen man och tvingade under dödshot ut honom från sitt hem, i ett försök att ta över hans mark och bygga en moské där. Detta trots färska domstolsbeslut på att den kristne mannen har äganderätt.
• Allt fler vittnesmål dyker upp om att muslimska immigranter hånar och till och med överfaller kristna i Italien.
• "Vi är ett fattigt land. Dessa människor [tillfångatagna kristna] har inte gjort något fel och kommer inte att skada någon. Vi assyrier har inte sådana [lösen] summor som ni ber om." — Biskop Mar Mellis, Syrien.

Terrorattack mot palestinsk familj skakar Israel

Det israeliska samhället verkar vara mer eller mindre i chock efter att man misstänker att det är judiska terrorister som bränt ner ett palestinskt hem på västbanken utanför Nablus i fredags. I attacken dödades en baby och brodern och föräldrarna fick svåra brännskador.
Attacken fördöms i hårda ordalag av alla politiker oberoende av parti och det diskuteras vad som gått fel i det judiska samhället när något som detta kan hända.

För en som betraktar händelsen utifrån är det (bortsett från det tragiska i själva händelsen) slående hur annorlunda man i Israel reagerar när någon av de egna ser ut att ha utfört en terrorattack jämfört med hur de palestinska ledarna och det palestinska samhället reagerar på liknande situationer.

I Israel fördöms attacken, man skäms över att man som kollektiv inte lyckats förhindra att någon utför ett liknande dåd och man rannsakar sig och funderar över vad som nu borde göras för att förhindra liknande händelser i framtiden.

När palestinier dödar oskyldiga judar i sina hem, i synagogor eller i bilar betraktas dessa terrorattacker av de palestinska ledarna och samhället som hjältemodiga dåd och terroristerna hedras som hjältar i massmedia och av den högsta politiska ledningen.

Det är skillnaden mellan det israeliska och palestinska samhället i ett nötskal.

När omvärlden under lång tid mer eller mindre accepterat att palestinierna använder terror i sin kamp mot Israel är det närmast oundvikligt att det uppstår grupper på den israeliska sidan som anser sig ha rätt att använda samma metoder. Israel är inget perfekt samhälle med perfekta individer.
Här får nog västvärlden se sig i spegeln, när palestinska ledare hedrat mördare som hjältar har man tigit.Vilka signaler ger det?

Netanyahu 'shocked and outraged' after visiting hospital bedside of Palestinian burn victim (Jerusalem Post)

Netanyahu: “When you stand next to the bed of this small child, and his infant brother had been so brutally murdered, we’re shocked, we’re outraged,” he continued. “We condemn this. There is zero tolerance for terrorism wherever it comes from, whatever side of the fence it comes from. We have to fight it and fight it together.”

Netanyahu added that he had ordered security forces to use all measures to locate the murderers and was committed to finding them and bringing them to justice.

President Reuven Rivlin arrived at Sheba Medical Center shortly after Netanyahu’s departure and declared that it was not enough to talk about the need to fight terror – the government and the nation must declare that we will no longer tolerate it. As painful as the arson in Duma was, he said, it was also shameful.

Early Friday morning, Rivlin took the unusual step of issuing a statement in both Arabic and Hebrew urging everyone on both sides to “not let terror win.” He called on Palestinians and Israeli Arabs to “not succumb to the shock and anger,” and to allow law enforcement authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice. The president also acknowledged that Israel has been lax in its treatment of Jewish terrorists.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon spoke out sharply against Jewish terrorism on Friday.

“We will not allow Jewish terrorists to harm the lives of Palestinians across Judea and Samaria. We will fight them in every way, with every tool at our disposal,” he said.

“This is a most severe terrorist act that we cannot tolerate, and we condemn [it] in every way.”

Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein (Likud) said he is “shocked and concerned following the wave of terrorism rising among us. The murder of a baby is a despicable crime that comes entirely from blind hate that must stop.”

Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan (Likud) said he is shocked by the attack, and said the perpetrators “must end their lives behind bars.”

Education Minister Naftali Bennett (Bayit Yehudi) said the attack “is not a hate crime and not ‘Price Tag,’ it is murder.”

Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) wrote on Facebook that “whoever burns a baby in his bed is not human. Condemnation is not enough. This is the time for action, not speech.”

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog (Zionist Union) called the attack in Duma “terrorism of the worst kind.” Writing on Facebook, Herzog said Israelis “must wear sackcloth and ashes and have a time of national mourning.”

Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid reacted to both the Duma attack and Thursday’s stabbing at the Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade by saying: “We are at war.”

“Whoever burns a Palestinian baby has declared war on Israel. Whoever attacks with a knife our youths at the Gay Pride has declared war on Israel,” he wrote on Facebook on Friday. “They are the natural partners of Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS. They betray all that is sacred to us... they are Jewish traitors.”
