Alla tar avstånd från USA:s förslag (som ännu inte getts)
Alla väntar på att USA skall lägga fram sitt ramförslag till hur förhandlingarna mellan Israel och palestinierna skall fortsätta och det finns en del rykten om hur förslaget kommer att se ut. Men man kan konstatera att det inte ser ljust ut.
Palestinierna tar avstånd från förslaget.
Israel säger att man inte behöver acceptera det.
USA säger att det inte är deras förslag utan parternas.
Är det möjligtvis någon som vet vad de håller på med...?

Ashton kommer ihåg Förintelen men glömmer judarna
EU:s utrikesminister Catherine Ashton har väckt en del uppmärksamhet med sitt uttalande med anledning av Förintelsens minnesdag.
Orsaken är att hon lyckas utelämna ordet "judarna" från sitt uttalande.
Att uppmärksamma Förintelsen men glömma bort judarna är minst sagt märkligt och antagligen inte ett misstag.

Abbas rådgivare prisar gårdagens terrorist

Israeliska soldater besvarade elden och dödade mannen.
En terrorattack bland många andra men notera vad Mahmoud Abbas rådgivare och medlemmen i Fatahs centralkommitté Sultan Abu Al-Einein skrev på sin Facebooksida.
Han prisar Mubarak som en hjältemodig martyr som nu stigit upp till paradiset i himlen.

piety from our heroic Martyr (Shahid) Muhammad Mahmoud Mubarak from the
resolute Jalazone refugee camp, who ascended to Heaven as a Martyr in

Israeliskt fältsjukhus behandlar civila från Syrien
Israel och Syrien är fortfarande officiellt i krig med varandra. Trots det kommer det en jämn ström med skadade från Syrien till Israel.
För att möta behovet av sjukvård har Israels armé upprättat ett fältsjukhus vid gränsen.
En del har så svåra skador att de inte skulle ha överlevt om de skulle ha transporterats till ett civilt sjukhus säger överste Tariff Bader som leder sjukhuset.
Den första tiden var syrierna lite tveksamma att komma över gränsen till Israel men nu litar de på oss säger Bader.

Hamas uppmanar Abbas att omedelbart avbryta förhandlingarna och samarbetet med Israel.
Enligt Hamas är det först och främst väpnat motstånd som skall användas för att befria Palestina. Hamas motsätter sig en tvåstatslösning och vägrar ge upp en enda tum av landet.

Palestinska terrorattacker ökade 2013
Israeliska säkerhetstjänsten har publicerat statistik för år 2013.Det positiva är att raketattackerna från Gaza har minskat drastiskt.Under 2013 förekom det endast 63 raketattacker och 11 granatattacker från Gaza jämfört med 2327 och 230 under 2012.
Däremot har terrorattacker på västbanken ökat från 578 år 2012 till 1271år 2013.
44 israeler skadades i terrorattacker 2013 och 6 personer dödades.
De flesta skadorna kom från stenkastning eller förorsakades av brandbomber.
