Fatah uppviglar till våld och utsätts för våld

Under det senaste dygnet har två Fatahtjänstemän utsatts för attacker i Gaza.
Tre oidentifierade män besköt Ma’moun Sweidans bil, två av hans medhjälpare skadades i attacken. Tidigare på söndag natt sattes en bil som tillhörde Abdel Muni’m Al-Tahrawi i brand.
Fatah anklagar Hamas för attackerna. Hamas säger att det är fråga om en intern maktkamp inom Fatah.

Fatah official survives assassination attempt in Gaza 

Israels försvarsminister Moshe Ya’alon säger att de palestinska myndigheterna kunde ha tagit över kontrollen av Gaza efter senaste sommars krig men viljan saknades.Efter att vapenvilan trädde i kraft var det meningen att de palestinska myndigheterna skulle ta över kontrollen av området för att säkerställa att den internationella hjälpen skulle nå fram. Så har inte skett och det var nog en ganska orealistisk tanke att Hamas skulle lämna ifrån sig kontrollen även om Ya'alon påstår att så skulle ha varit möjligt.

Fatah fortsätter att uppvigla till våld mot Israel

 De tre viktigaste religiösa ledarna inom de palestinska myndigheterna har under den senaste månaden låtit förstå att Israel försöker förstöra  Al-Aqsa moskén. Det vara samma retorik som användes i höstas för att uppvigla till terrorattackerna som förorsakade 11 israelers död.

1. The PA Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Hussein said that Israel aspires "to build the alleged Temple on the ruins of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque." [Feb. 12, 2015]
2. Abbas' Advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash said that UNESCO must prevent Israel from "destroying the human heritage in Jerusalem." [Feb. 11, 2015]
3. The PA Minister of Religious Affairs Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is warned that since January, Israel has made "over a hundred attacks and incidents of desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs)" and that "the Al-Aqsa Mosque is in grave and direct danger and that with every sunrise, this danger grows."
